SCRIPTS
These
scripts are written to
provide a fun evening that will encourage guests to enjoy the season
in a positive and uplifting way.
Dramas can be enjoyed
by any size church, but were written with the small church in mind.
Do you have a small troupe with drama talents but not a musical group?
Do you want rich meaning and lots of fun? These scripts are
ideal for you!
You may preview a script by
emailing your name and church name to Nancy at

see a portion of the script and a list of characters in pdf format.
Order:Register

An
invoice will be emailed to you to be paid online by credit card
at PayPal. (Or let me know if you prefer to mail a check and a
different type of invoice will be sent.) The script and extras
will be emailed to you as soon as payment is received.

A Christmas Script for Youth #2
“A
Chili Christmas”

A Christmas Drama with an inspiring message for all who see it!
|
Synopsis:
For
weeks, Theo has unsuccessfully tried earning money for a trip to
Greece to meet his great-grandfather. It takes humorous
situations, hard work, unique people and a chili cook-off
for him to discover that God is at work
all around him.
About 50 minutes. Since the drama does conclude at a
chili cook-off, offering a dinner theater with chili would be a
fun option.
Cost:
$85
The Cast:
4 Adult parts - 3 F and 1 M
(Can be played by youth.)
6 Youth Parts - 3 M and 3 F
Plus other volunteers needed to help with props and scene changes. |

A Christmas Script for Youth #1
“My
Superpower”

An unforgettable Christmas Drama for your youth! Sure to be a
favorite!
Synopsis:
Mr.
Hogan encourages a small group of youth to select a Christmas song to
perform in the upcoming Christmas program. As they struggle to
agree on a song, an angel suddenly appears. This angel gives
each youth an amazing gift that changes their lives. As the week
progresses, they gain a whole new understanding of why Christ came to
earth.
About 30 minutes. (Note: Music for the one song "Hark, the
Herald Angels Sing" is not included.)

The Cast:
1 Female Narrator
1 Male or Female teacher
5 Youth - suggested 3 M and 2 F (can be adapted)
1
Angel (Male in the script can be switched)
2 Sign Carriers - add great fun
without memorizing lines
As many youth as desired to play
and sing the song at the end. Naturally, additional songs
can be presented as desired.
Plus other volunteers needed to help
with props and scene changes. |

For
the Dinner Theaters,
guests are invited to sit together at tables where they
will eat, enjoy the drama, and get to know others better through games
and/or simple activities.

Dinner Theater Christmas Drama #1
“The
Christmas I'll Never Forget”

Synopsis:
Joe Maddock plans a fabulous Christmas trip to the Bahamas as his gift
to his wife and 3 grown (or nearly grown) children. However,
hazardous weather conditions force the family to seek shelter before
ever reaching the airport. Audience members will laugh and cry
as they experience a very different Maddock family Christmas
celebration! Church members and the community will appreciate
the message that this original script has to offer.
Cost:

The Cast:
The cast includes 6 main parts:
- 3 Male:
Father (~ 50), Oldest Son (~ 26), and Hotel Manager
- 3 Female: Mother (~ 50), Older Daughter (~ 23), and
Youngest Daughter (~17/18)
Optional:
There is a fun suggestion to involve several young children from the
church that will not require them to rehearse or memorize lines.
Two game/activity
suggestions are given that relate to the script.
