Lesson Title Description
#40 Righteousness through Faith

#41 Be transformed -- Not Conformed

Children learn that we should "crucify" our sins and then transform our minds to be more like Christ's.  They make a great craft that reminds them to put good things into their minds.  Romans 12:1,2

#42 The Battle
Within

Children will discover that even Paul had the "good vs. evil" battle within him.  In role playing, Bible reading, and game playing they see how important it is to make the best choice.  Romans 7:19-25

#43 Children
of God

Puppets help teach the encouraging points in this lesson that 1) God is our loving Father and 2) we are His children and heirs!  Children learn Romans 8:14 through a fun game.  The FUNSHEET provides another opportunity for a fun group game.

#44 One
Body

Children discover the importance of all the parts of the body of Christ as taught in Romans 12.  Then, they apply the lesson during class by creatively working together!

#45 Good
Citizens

Children work together to find missing words in Romans 13:1-7 teaching them to understand that we should obey the government because God is in control.  They apply the lesson by going beyond obedience and working on showing appreciation.

#46 Love
Others

This is the last lesson from the book of Romans.  Children learn about loving others.  They focus on those in their very own classroom through a great craft that they'll want to keep for a long time.  There is an optional review of Bible verses from Romans.

#47 Building of a
Firm Foundation

From I Corinthians 15:9-14, children grasp how crucial it is to build a Christian life on the foundation of Jesus Christ.  Then, they move further to discover building on it with gold, silver, & prec. stones.

the Race

I Corinthians 9:24,25 helps us to understand that the Christian life takes hard work and even sacrifice, but in the end we will all receive an eternal prize!!  Special guest or movie clip suggested.

#49 Pride and
Temptation

Through review of the Israelites, I Corinthians 10:11-13, a modern day story, and a fun game, the children learn the importance of not being prideful and resisting temptation.

#51 Love Is . . .

After studying I Corinthians 13:1-8, children have the opportunity to put love into action!  To show love, children go beyond their classroom and reach out to others.

#52 Bad Company
Corrupts

One day we will be resurrected - just as Jesus was!  But until that day comes, it's important how we spend our time and who we spend that time with.  Children play an exciting game that reinforces the lesson and verse 33.  I Corinthians 15:20-24, 32, 33
