Lesson Title Description
#40 Righteousness through Faith

Continuing the Study from Romans in chapter 4 verses 1-9, and Romans 3:22, children are reminded that we do not become Christians through our own good works.  They learn big words and are rewarded for their efforts in a game to earn wages.

#41 Be transformed -- Not Conformed

Children learn that we should "crucify" our sins and then transform our minds to be more like Christ's.  They make a great craft that reminds them to put good things into their minds.  Romans 12:1,2

#42 The Battle

Children will discover that even Paul had the "good vs. evil" battle within him.  In role playing, Bible reading, and game playing they see how important it is to make the best choice.  Romans 7:19-25

#43 Children
of God

Puppets help teach the encouraging points in this lesson that 1) God is our loving Father and 2) we are His children and heirs!  Children learn Romans 8:14 through a fun game.  The FUNSHEET provides another opportunity for a fun group game.

#44 One

Children discover the importance of all the parts of the body of Christ as taught in Romans 12.  Then, they apply the lesson during class by creatively working together!

#45 Good

Children work together to find missing words in Romans 13:1-7 teaching them to understand that we should obey the government because God is in control.  They apply the lesson by going beyond obedience and working on showing appreciation.

#46 Love

This is the last lesson from the book of Romans.  Children learn about loving others.  They focus on those in their very own classroom through a great craft that they'll want to keep for a long time.  There is an optional review of Bible verses from Romans.

#47 Building of a
Firm Foundation

From I Corinthians 15:9-14, children grasp how crucial it is to build a Christian life on the foundation of Jesus Christ.  Then, they move further to discover building on it with gold, silver, & prec. stones.

#48 Running
the Race

I Corinthians 9:24,25 helps us to understand that the Christian life takes hard work and even sacrifice, but in the end we will all receive an eternal prize!!  Special guest or movie clip suggested.

#49 Pride and

Through review of the Israelites, I Corinthians 10:11-13, a modern day story, and a fun game, the children learn the importance of not being prideful and resisting temptation.

#50 The Lord's

The Lord's Supper is an important time of remembrance of Jesus Christ!  Through fun interaction, children understand the symbolism and significance.  Then, children have the opportunity to participate in The Lord's Supper.  I Corinthians 11:23-29, 33, 34

#51 Love Is . . .

After studying I Corinthians 13:1-8, children have the opportunity to put love into action!  To show love, children go beyond their classroom and reach out to others.

#52 Bad Company

One day we will be resurrected - just as Jesus was!  But until that day comes, it's important how we spend our time and who we spend that time with.  Children play an exciting game that reinforces the lesson and verse 33.  I Corinthians 15:20-24, 32, 33

Changed in
the Twinkling
of an Eye

God Is
Our Comfort!

Through a puppet show, interactive lesson, and a fun game, children will recognize the importance of forgiving others!  II Corinth 2:4-11

We were born with a selfish desire to please ourselves!  After studying II Corinthians 5:9-17, the class learns that God wants our focus in life to be living for and pleasing Him.

God gives to us so that we can give to others - not just our money, but also our gifts and talents.  Children will grasp the life long lesson that:  We reap what we sow, more than we sow, later than we sow!!  II Corinthians 9:6-12

A Spiritual

A powerful final lesson from II Corinthians 13:5.  Children learn how to give themselves a “spiritual check up” to see if they are growing in their faith and in their relationship with Christ.  A special guest is recommended along with a fun game and song.

Justified by
Faith in Jesus

This first lesson from Galatians reveals the struggle that some of the new Christians in the area of Galatia were having.  Children are encouraged to know what it means to be a Christian and to have Jesus Christ living within us.

Stand Firm
in the Truth

Through studying Galatians 5:1, 7-10 and a fun drama, children discover how to stand firm when others try to lead them astray from God’s commands.  They will be able to visualize the possible effects of one negative person by seeing how yeast works through the whole batch of dough.
